Va. man's shooting justified: Officials
Prosecutors say a former police officer was justified in fatally shooting a tourist from Woodbridge outside a South Beach club.
Miami-Dade prosecutors released their final report Tuesday, clearing former Miami Beach Officer Adam Tavss in the June 2009 shooting of Husien Shehada.
Prosecutors say that even though Shehada did not have a gun, he and his brother, Samer, had used a beer bottle and a wooden coat hanger to pretend they were carrying guns, sparking panic and 911 calls about armed men.
Shehada's family disagrees with prosecutors. Their attorney believes a civil jury will one day side with the family.
Tavss is no longer a police officer. He was involved in a second fatal shooting four days after killing Shehada. Several months later, he was charged with growing marijuana at his home.

Wow! No longer a police officer and was found, in a report, to be justified in fatally shooting a tourist -- yet he was involved in a second fatal shooting four days after killing said tourist, not to mention with being charged with growing marijuana at his home several months later. Something just strikes me as completely wrong with this particular cop -- along with the system down there -- here....

WOW - it would be scary living in a town with him, as an officer, considering his "justified killing" and another killing plus drug use.

Again, PublicEnemy1 bashing the Police because of one bad apple. Tell you what, if you ever have a crime committed against you, call MS-13 or some other gang since the Police are a gang in your eyes. SMH....

I just wish the Police would get out of my way....I would never call the Police, for anything.....I'll take care of it myself

Amazing!!! Use of deadly force was justified because one guy had a beer bottle (was it broken?) and the other was carrying a wooden coat hanger. Could their nationality have pulled the trigger?
