By The Roanoke Times

A former Staunton River High School football coach has pleaded guilty to having sex with two underage girls.

Thirty-seven-year-old Rick Witt entered his plea Tuesday in Bedford County, Va., Circuit Court to 10 misdemeanor counts of consensual sexual intercourse with a minor.

Witt, who was fired by the county school system in December 2009, faces up to a year in jail on each count when he's sentenced on March 1.
