Va. woman recovers wallet stolen in 1989
Twenty years later, Vickey Rodgers has her stolen wallet back.
Rodgers' wallet was stolen in November 1989 from a dance studio where she worked in Virginia Beach. The wallet was discovered about a month ago at a nearby church during renovations.
Rodgers says a $20 bill was still hidden behind something even more valuable — one of many irreplaceable photos.
They included a photo of Rodgers' parents and two younger brothers in Alabama, taken soon after she graduated from high school in 1953, and a shot of her husband in Italy when he was with the Navy in 1964.
