Nextbus sign has a wrong ID

Who's responsible: WMATA

The Nextbus sign on the corner of 14th and F streets, heading into the city, has an incorrect ID number. The number is used by people who want to know when the next bus will arrive at that particular stop.

Officials with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority said metro's bus planning division is in charge of taking care of Metrobus signs and bus shelter repairs, unless the shelter belongs to the local jurisdiction. Bus riders can contact the planning division at 202-962-2063 or go online at www.wmata.com and click "contact us." A third option, officials said, is to call customer information at 202-637-7000 and ask to speak directly to a customer service representative. When reporting a problem, it is important riders give the exact location of the problem, including the street address and direction, officials said.
