Walls scrawled in Stafford

Who's responsible: Stafford County Police Department
Number of votes to fix: 1

Gripers typically find a single problem on a street, but griper J.D. felt compelled to file no less than 7 reports on a single stretch in Stafford. The problem: Graffiti scrawled around the Brafferton Shopping Center off of Garrisonville Road. An enterprising tagger(s) has covered everything from doors and electrical boxes to poles and walls (see photos on the jump).

Cathy Riddle, a Stafford County spokeswoman, said officials were unaware of the problem, but that they would investigate.

"We'll have someone get out there and see if they can work with the shopping center owners to get the graffiti removed," Riddle said. Riddle said the county's police department has a graffiti task force, which handles these type of complaints.
