Brush blocks view at intersection in MoCo
Who's responsible: Montgomery County
Number of votes to fix: 1
An unruly patch of what appears to be kudzu or a kudzu-like vine has overgrown the corner of Capitol View Avenue and Stoneybrook Drive in Silver Spring. The vines have buried a yellow chevron sign and are threatening to do the same to the Capitol View street sign and a yellow arrow sign.
However, the real problem an anonymous griper said is that the canopy of vines blocks drivers' views as they are turning off of Stoneybrook onto Capitol View.
The good news is that officials at the Mid-County Regional Services Center have submitted a request to the Department of Public Works and Transportation to have the overgrowth trimmed at the corner. The work should be completed any day now.
