Pothole cluster patched
Who got it done: Virginia Department of Transportation
You know it's bad when a griper resorts to all caps to describe a problem. Whitney Landry had only one word for a cluster of potholes on U.S. 50 East at Annandale Road near Falls Church: "HUGE."
The Daily Gripe called Joan Morris, a spokeswoman for the Virginia Department of Transportation, roughly two weeks ago to find out if the department was aware of this "HUGE" problem. They weren't, Morris said, but she promised to look into it.
The Daily Gripe got back in touch with Morris a week later and she reported a VDOT crew was patching the potholes. Hopefully, Whitney, you'll notice a "HUGE" improvement the next time you travel on 50.
