Intersection gets proper crosswalk
Who got it done: Montgomery County
Time to fix: 3 weeks
As griper Lenonn, who describes him or herself as a "municipal avenger" recently reported, a repaving job on Apple Ave. near the corner of 2nd Ave. in Silver Spring covered up a chunk of the painted crosswalk lines in the area -- essentially you have half a crosswalk.
Montgomery County officials recently tackled the problem. They painstakingly repainted each of the missing crosswalk lines, as you can see from the thumbnail.
