Truckers Closing In On Capitol

Those truckers planning to protesting the high price of gas were delayed because they didn't anticipate the traffic congestion on I-270, where they got caught in the morning rush hour. They are just beginning to close in on the U.S. Capitol. Their rally to protest gas prices was supposed to start at 11 a.m.

Truckers... not familiar with a route? Didn't know to expect heinous congestion in DC-region's rush hour traffic, on a rainy day at that?

Just makes 'em use even more of that precious diesel, I guess, exasperating the very supply-demand pricing problem their protesting to begin with.

They get what they deserve for helping to cause worse congestion during rush hour for thousands (tens of thousands?) of people this morning, wasting thousands of gallons more fuel, increasing air pollution (with their non-catalyzed trucks), and adding to our decreasing productivity for private companies and government.

we have much to thank the truckers for. if not fo them we might all get a little hungry; we might all run out of fuel; we might all have medical issues unresolved. the list goes on and on. face it, we all depend on truckers in basically all walks of life. as the ceo of Exxon/mobil said. if we didn't use it it would be 19cents a gallon and if we don't want to pay so much, don't drive so much
