The Pace Setter
A Monday morning feature in which D.C. Wire charts Mayor Adrian M. Fenty's quest for athletic glory.
He may have been due at a major retailers conference in Las Vegas, where he is spending today, but that didn't stop the mayor from competing in Sunday's Columbia (Md.) Triathlon, a 1.5k swim, 41k bike and 10k run.
Fenty finished in 2 hours, 28 minutes, 36 seconds, good for 211th place overall out of the 1,730 who completed the course. The mayor's performance bested his time from 2007, when he clocked 2:37:06.
Fenty's swim was 25:16, putting him 460th after the first leg. His bike was 1:13:13, and his run was 45:28.
The 2008 winner, Chris Lieto, 36, finished in 1:51:13.

Who Cares, I personally would like Mr. Fenty to address the troubles that are going on throughout the juvenile justice system. I dont care if he does a mile in 3 minutes
