Lawyers Union: Three Reinstated at AG's Office
Interim D.C. Attorney General Peter J. Nickles has reinstated three of the eight lawyers he fired last month, according to union representatives who have been fighting Nickles in court.
Union President Steven J. Anderson said Nickles informed the lawyers of his decision on Friday, a day after the union won a temporary restraining order in Superior Court that temporarily blocked Nickles from firing the employees. Another hearing in the matter is scheduled for Thursday, and Anderson said the union will proceed to try to win reinstatement for the other five lawyers.
