Star Power in D.C. Delegation Section

DENVER --- Shadow Sen. Paul Strauss might be a B-lister on Capitol Hill, but he hangs with the A-list when it comes to Hollywood. Strauss brought actress Hayden Panettiere to the Pepsi Center tonight for Joe Biden's vice presidential acceptance speech and Barack Obama's surprise entrance. Strauss met Panettiere while she was testifying before Congress on behalf of Save the Whales Again, and she agreed to star in a public service announcement for D.C. Voting Rights with him. Apparently, their connection has lasted. Strauss brought Panettiere up to the D.C. section, introducing her to Council member Kwame Brown and others. According to Strauss, the actress will stump for voting rights Thursday.
