Shadow Senator Race Full of Heat
It's a job with no pay and no power, but the contest is intense as incumbent Paul Strauss defends his record as one of the city's shadow senators. Strauss is seeking a third six-year term as the shadow senator. He's facing activist Philip Pannell, who doesn't have as much money, but---as reporter Hamil R. Harris writes into today's Post---certainly has a reputation for being able to score points with his analysis and often biting wit.
