City Goes After Bad Used Car Dealerships
The city is on the offensive against questionable used car dealerships in the District.
Today Mayor Adrian M. Fenty is announcing plans to close 23 illegal dealerships, as part of an effort close 100 such dealearships in the city. In a news release this morning, the administration said it is closing the dealerships because of serious code violations. Many, the administration said, haven't sold one car.
A news conference is set for 10:30 a.m. at CitiMotors on Bladensburg Road in Northeast Washington.
