A Vote for Obama

Mayor Adrian M. Fenty will oversee history today as the District casts its vote for the nation's first African American president. Fenty presides over the District's 12th Electoral College today. Ward 4 Councilmember Muriel Bowser, Council Chairman Vincent C. Gray and Jerry S. Cooper will cast the District's vote for the 44th President of the United States at 3:30 p.m. at the John A. Wilson Building.
