Are You a D.C. Gov Employee? Have We Got a Deal For You!

Ahh, the perks of being a D.C. government worker: toil in anonymity unless you do something bad and then get written up in the newspaper or have the mayor breathing down your neck.

But guess what? Today's a new day for D.C. bureaucrats! For a limited time, the D.C. Sports and Entertainment Commission is offering all city employees a 2 for 1 deal on tickets to the inaugural -- no, not that inaugural -- wait for it ... EagleBank Bowl at RFK Stadium on Saturday! Between those perennial powerhouses Navy and Wake Forest!

From the Sports Commission's press release:

With all the anticipation surrounding the match up and the energy of the bowl season, the DC Sports & Entertainment Commission (DCSEC) wants to ensure that District employees feel especially welcome and appreciated for the service that they provide to District residents every day. So we are proud to offer a special ticket sales offer to all District Government Employees, which entitles you to purchase two tickets for the price of one, for Premium ($75); VIP ($100) and Mezzanine ($110) seats.

Settle down everyone. Let's not all call for tickets at the same time. (Ticketmaster, Washington DC 202-397-SEAT (7328); Baltimore 410-547-SEAT (7328); Northern Virginia 703-573-SEAT (7328); out of state 1-800-551-SEAT (7328) or online. When ordering your tickets, please provide the code: "DCSEC".)

And don't say D.C. government never did anything to show you that you're appreciated.
