Duke Ellington's likeness will grace the District's quarter. It was Ellington's likeness, by the way, that won a D.C. Wire poll in the contest for who would be on the city's quarter.

What else can you say to comment on this except long overdue and outstanding. This true genius has had an incredible influence on many genres of music. I am ,like him, a son of The District and am proud to have him immortalized as our representative.
