Gray Has to Answer to Baltimore
Yesterday wasn't a great day for Council Chairman Vincent C. Gray, at least in the betting department.
D.C. Wire told you last month about the bet the chairman made with his Baltimore counterpart Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. The two legislators exchanged letters and talked a lot of trash about which team was going to win last night's football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Redskins. The Ravens won 24-10 last night.
That means Gray has to provide dinner at Ben's Chili Bowl for Rawlings-Blake and her staff. Unfortunately, Ben's will have to put a little crow on the menu for our chairman.
