Fenty: I May Stop By Neighborhood Ball

D.C. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty (D) dropped by the Washington Post newsroom this evening, about two hours after Barack Obama left, to appear on Washington Post Live, a sports-related television show on Comcast.

Fenty was asked about his plans for Tuesday night and said he will try to drop by more than one inaugural ball, including the Neighborhood Ball, which features a long list of A-list acts at the Washington Convention Center.

"When I talked with Obama, he said was a big fan of the Neighborhood Ball," Fenty said. "He sees that as part of his administration, being part of the community and with civic associations. He's a community organizer at heart."
