Regretably DCPS has taken on the burdensome role of family support. If schools are closed today, some children won't eat.

As a parent of a student who has to walk one mile to school. I think that schools should have been closed. Because after the two hour delay I got to school and found out there is no after care. My street is was not cleared nor the sidewalks or side streets. Also they stress not to walk in the streets, either way I am taking a chance with ice on the sidewalks.
