Ward 7 Residents Invited To Meet Clark Ray

Ward 7 residents can meet and greet Clark Ray, the fired recreation director turned D.C. Council candidate, this Friday at the home of Greg and Candace Rhett, according to a Facebook invitation.

Kim Morton, political activist extraordinaire, blasted the invitation today. She said she sent it out for a friend. "I am still learning about Clark Ray," she said in an e-mail.

Rhett has been a longtime fixture in Ward 7 politics. He joined a crowded field of candidates for the Ward 7 council seat in the 2007 special election won by now Council member Yvette M. Alexander.
