A mayor on the go, uh-oh!!!

Mayor Adrian M. Fenty (D) won't let a police detail drive him, but he has apparently been using officers as he trains with cycling team D.C. Velo, according to a report by WTOP investigative reporter Mark Segraves.

Segraves told D.C. Wire that he trailed Fenty, a triathlete, a dozen times over three months to get the story, which includes video showing the mayor and other cyclists using a police escort to run red lights. They even took their bikes on a road where bikes are prohibited, police escort in tow.

Just another law broken with the aid of the police. Wow Lanier, you've sunk to yet another low. My tax dollars are being spent on bike escorts and not crime fighting? Also, how much has it cost us to transport the bikes for races? Did I hear over $400,000.00? How many people are out of work while the mayor is playing?

Keep the camera's rolling on him. I'm counting on all scandals to surface in 2010. WE know they are there!

By the time Fenty finishes using Lanier for his wrong doing, the only time her name will be used is in a dumb blonde joke. Boy will she have a lot to reflect on.

Maser Fenty has a historical record as mayor for violating DC laws. I am not surprised that he would cross into Maryland with a police escort without notifying the Montgomery County Sheriff's office that he would be obstructing traffic and creating traffice snarls for a bike ride. The rock creek bike trail is available as well as the bike train along national airport. This is more about power to do whether legal or not. We can't wait to vote Maser Fenty out of his job and then he will have plenty of time during the day to bike ride.

I cannot wait to read the washington Post editorial celebrating the mayor's fitness.

Believe me this scandal will not put a dent in this man's ego. He will continue to tow his friends around the city, pass out contracts to old and sometimes questionable friends, use city and federal vehicles for his own pleasure. After all, he can pass the buck to Chief of Police, the grateful and loyal LANIER.

LET US HOPE THIS CONTINUES AS WE MOVE CLOSER TO 2010. KEEP IT UP MY MAN. SHOW YOUR TRUE COLORS.

The Imperial Mayoralty need look no further; the conformation is complete.
Adrian Malik "Nero" Fenty: pedaling while DC crumbles.

(Alas, in the current incarnation, one must question whether the Emperor is merely ignoring the destruction or actively contributing to it.)
