Fenty declares D.C. snow emergency

Mayor Adrian M. Fenty (D) has declared a snow emergency that begins at 7 a.m. Saturday. All vehicles must be removed from the city's snow routes. Vehicles will be ticketed and towed.

Update: The snow emergency was lifted at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
