I am new to writing about the District, but not to politics. I rode the bus with McCain in New Hampshire the first time, saw Schwarzenegger smoking stogies in Sacramento and now Fenty apparently jogs by my house in Ward 4. Politics is driven by personality and we've got plenty here.
As a D.C. taxpayer and parent, I want to tell you what's working, what's not, how the government is spending our money and why.
