Video: Personality vs. record in mayor's race

Your Browser DoesNot Support IFrames. What matters more to voters, what a candidate has accomplished or how they come across? Fenty and Gray both face challenges in the latter department, with the mayor's methods of working (or not) with others in government striking some as arrogant, and with the council...

Fenty seems ill-prepared in TV interview

Appearing on set with the morning anchors, Fenty appeared ill-prepared to answer questions about the triple shooting last night near Howard University, the Washington Post story this morning about questionable DUI arrests in the city, or his views on the Office of Campaign Investigation into whether D.C. Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee improperly solicited private money to fund the teachers' contract.

Ex-Board of Education chief: Gray or Rhee is a bogus choice

(Cross-posted from Bill Turque's D.C. Schools blog) As expected, former D.C. State Board of Education president Lisa Raymond, who scuffled with Mayor Adrian M. Fenty over budget and policy issues, has endorsed Council Chairman Vincent C. Gray in the Sept. 14 primary. In a statement that went out Tuesday night...
