When will Don Peebles make up his ever-loving mind?

Allow this to be my first public service as a Washington Post blogger: I will get R. Donahue Peebles to declare his mayoral intentions once and for all.
Last we heard from the megadeveloper, he told the crowd at a D.C. Chamber of Commerce event that he'd make a decision on whether to challenge Adrian Fenty and Vincent Gray in "the next coming days." That was nearly two weeks ago, and it follows months of on-again, off-again boasting, teasing and promising.
While us full-time D.C. residents are trying to stage a nice, tidy, exciting, mano a mano mayoral race this summer, Peebles and his potential self-financed $5 million war chest wait in the wings.

This is a silly story. It is less than a few months out. VG is in the lead...available staff is hard to find...is it possible Don Peebles wants the attention and weight of being a challenger with means. But somebody won't come to the table...
