Fenty campaign challenges independent Gray fundraising

Washington Post Editors

On his blog, Mike DeBonis writes that the Fenty campaign has asked the D.C. Office of Campaign Finance to investigate "Friends of Vince Gray" for possible fundraising violations. The independent fundraising committee, according to founder Clinton LeSueur, stands to significantly aid Gray's effort to unseat Mayor Adrian Fenty (D).

But Bill Lightfoot -- the attorney, former council member and Fenty campaign chairman -- cites a litany of potential and apparent missteps, starting with LeSueuer's well-established connections to the actual Gray for Mayor campaign. The complaint lists a number of Facebook postings in which LeSueur describes his volunteer door-knocking for the Gray campaign, plus his attendance at Gray's April 21 kick-off fundraiser.

Don't waste your time bill lightfoot he will not be able to raise 4 million dollars. Gray will win without the multimillions that the king has in the bank.

King Fenty will soon be kicked out of his Kingdom (Wilson Building) soon. Adrian has been seen walking in many neighborhoods in Ward 4 trying to get Ward 4 residents to change their minds or negative opinions of him. Fenty is hated by most in Ward 4. When you lay down with dogs King Fenty, you will get up with fleas.
