Fenty friend Skinner takes aim at D.C. Council, Graham
Sinclair Skinner, one of former mayor Adrian M. Fenty's friends at the center of the investigation into parks and recreation contracts handed out under the previous administration, issued a biting statement Monday accusing District government leaders of being "synonymous with corruption, scandal and mismanagement."

Jim Graham's Lady Gaga dream remains alive
After being mocked by some voters and media outlets, D.C. Council member Jim Graham (D-Ward 1) donated two tickets to tonight's Lady Gaga concert to charity, but said he's "unexpectedly" received two additional tickets to tonight's show so he may still attend the event.

Council extends the party for daylight savings day
The D.C. Council has approved emergency legislation giving bars and nightclubs the option of staying open until 4 a.m. on the day daylight savings time begins.

Need a Social Security number to drive? Maybe not in D.C.
Two D.C. Council members have introduced a bill to allow drivers licenses to be issued to residents who cannot provide a social security number, which could make it easier for undocumented immigrants to drive around the city.
