Biddle opens a well-staffed office for council race

Interim DC. Council member Sekou Biddle (D-At large) opened his campaign office Sunday as he gears up for the April 26 citywide election, telling a room of supporters they have to move at "light speed" to fend off more than a half-dozen potential challengers.

Cheh wants D.C. salary probe, council pay cut

D.C. Council member Mary M. Cheh (D) plans to look into the salaries that Mayor Vincent C. Gray (D) is paying his top staffers, sending an email to the Department of Human Resources requesting the records of all administration officials being paid more amounts higher than the allowable range.
