Bicycle, transit advocates fire back in support of Tregoning, Klein

Advocates for bicyclists and more mass transit options are firing back at the Committee of 100 on the Federal City over its opposition to Gabe Klein, director of the D.C. Department of Transportation, and Harriet Tregoning, who heads up the planning office.

Council clears tracks for trolley cars

The D.C. Council made way for the first leg of a 37-mile trolley system Tuesday, passing legislation to allow the use of overhead wires along Benning Road and H Street NE.

Graham hires city contractor to hang campaign signs

Campaigns can post placards on street fixtures, but it takes skill and experience to affix them high on lampposts while avoiding injury and adhering to rigorous city rules on where signs can be posted.
