Vigil for Lockridge Monday evening
There will be a candlelight vigil for D.C. State Board of Education member William Lockridge on Monday evening, 7 p.m at George Washington University Hospital, where he remains on life support after suffering a stroke Friday.
Natalie Williams, a family spokesperson, said all are invited and that participants should meet at the Foggy Bottom Metro station to proceed as a group along 23rd Street N.W. The 45-minute vigil will be held under Lockridge's hospital window.
