Fight Songs, Week Four

1) This Homage to Orgeron is indeed hilarious and will almost assuredly make you squeal with delite. (Thanks EDSBS.)

2) Is "Les Expos sont là" still the official song of the Nats? Do the Nats have an official song? Besides the "Frank Robinson Swan Song?"

UPDATE: I foolishly forgot Honky Tonk Confidential's classic Nats song "That's Nats," which I don't believe is an official fight song but is played occasionally at RFK and elsewhere. Sample lyric:

Well what's that noise I hear from RFK? That's Nats.
Cheering fans on a bright and sunny day. That's Nats.
Gloryosky (?), goodness me.
Say it's so, Joe, can it be?
That's baseball's back here in D.C. That's right. That's Nats.

Which is fine and all, but we can't move forward on this Major League City thing if we're forever focused on the past, with this "baseball's back in D.C." talk.

3) I forgot to link to 6'6 240's WVU remix, about the Maryland thrashing. By this point the ECU remix is almost out, but check out this lyric anyhow:

On Thursday night, nobody could stop us
Only game on, I know everybody saw us.
One more team's just one more hurdle
But you can't win the race if you're slow like a turtle.
Everything in order, look at the first quarter
Twenty-eight to nuttin'? Sounds like a slaughter!
And with Steve every week's more excitin'
Uh oh! I think we got a Heis-man.

4) I finally got the lyrics for Southeastern Oklahoma State University's new fight song, which helped earn the composer $1,000. I guess they probably didn't need that $1,000, anyhow.

Here comes the Savage Storm,
Sweepin' down the plain!
Savage Storm, we're
Gonna win again!
Rooting for our mighty
gold and blue, we're
fighting for S.O.S.U.!
Savage Storm! Savage Storm!
Savage Storm!
Savage Storm! Savage Storm!
Savage Storm!
Fight! Fight! Fight!
(Repeat verse)
