Stalkers Never Sleep

I guess I usually don't post this late at night, because the theory is that there aren't necessarily thousands of people sitting in front of their computer checking a stupid sports blog at 10:04 p.m., but events have intervened. Just got a call on my phone from a restricted number.

"This is The Goose," the voice said. "Things might be getting a little hectic. There might be some some stuff happening tonight. I'm sure you'll get some updates."

Then he hung up.

I'll be honest, The Goose doesn't live that near to my house, and I've been sitting here, contentedly watching the Caps try to blow that three-goal lead (they won, 4-3), and I don't feel like going over to The Goose's right now. But I guess we'll see what happens.

Earlier tonight, various stalkers chased The Goose's downstairs roommate to Arlington, and others chased The Goose's wife (Jacqui) to a supermarket or something like that, where she sprinted from one car to another or something like that, and somehow she then disappeared and they lost her.

"Impressed," summed up Sway the Irishman.

I mean, who knew, right? Nick and Jacqui: International Superheroes.
