What You Need to Know
Curious about Michael Vick? A columnist thinks fantasy football has something to do with all the criticism. Critics might carp, but T.J. Duckett says "Mike gets a bad rap." Gregg Doyel says he's starting to think Vick's an idiot (shock). Bob Molinaro says he's "more loser than winner." This blogger calls for him to be traded, while this Saints fan offers Vick forgiveness. Boomer says he needs to grow some thicker skin. Wilbon says he'd like to see Vick under the tutelage of Bill Walsh. Joe Gibbs says he "drives you crazy." He's certainly driven Falcons' fans totally nuts. Vick will give part of his Dirty Bird money to the family of a deceased firefighter. Also, LaCa delves into Gregg Williams's response to Tom Friend, and if you care about the game, Mora and Gibbs both say it's a must-win. Duh.
The Gilbert diagnosis continues. Tom Knott says he "is not in a good place mentally." BulletsFever thinks he'll be okay, in the end. An AOL blogger thinks Steve Javie is what's wrong. True Hoop says this was supposed to be the year Arenas challenged for the MVP. And the Wizznutzz put Wilbon's head on a turkey and call it a Wilturken (that was for my boss). Also, Emeka Okafor will help raise money for Safe Blood for Africa. Also, FreeDarko is unimpressed with Etan Thomas's column.
Olie Kolzig has now beaten every team in the NHL, forcing the Stars into a team meeting; Japers says Semin's confidence is back, OFB discovers Ovechkin's AIM page, which links to some of his favorite tunes (Beyonce?). The elder John Thompson says it's too early to worry about Georgetown, and a Guardian columnist thinks Freddy ("a sweet mystery") should go back to the U.S.
