Gilbert Poster Contest: Go Vote

Gilbertology, again doing a more thorough sweep of the world of Gil than the D.C. Arenas Bog, notes that voting is now open for the WPGC Gilbert Poster contest.

And it's nice to see that the students of Ms. Smolensky's seventh-grade art class submitted so many fine entries. It's amazing what a little paste and construction paper can create.

Regardless, I'm gonna throw my support behind the image shown here, which I would happily send to my readers, with french fry grease stains or without, at which point my readers would happily accept them. Although I wish I could read the fine type at the bottom. And I'd thoroughly urge WPGC to start a "Vote for Caron Butler Bookmark Contest," or a "Vote for Caron Butler Picture Postcard Contest," or a "Vote for Caron Butler Precanceled Postage Stamp Contest." As mentioned previously, he needs the support.

I would like #19 if the headline was "Vote Gilbert to Vegas... We need his blogs"

I'd put that poster on my wall.

14 is quite polished and looks professional. I like that one a tad better than the one posted here.

i'm in for #14 as well, but I did like the image of gil turned away and seeing the back of his jersey.

this would be a fine addition to the hot sauce and1 poster, jordan poster from dime and my print of preservation hall in new orleans. all of this art resides in my bathroom museum, the poopenheim.

I liked #11 with the flames. Simple and to the point. I feel the one posted is simply to busy. Quit frankly it's entirely too much going on for a poster if you ask me.
