Gilbert: Three-Point Favorite

The FanHaus crew predicted the three-point contest winner this morning, and two out of three expert bloggers selected Gilbert as their winner, despite the fact that he has the worst three-point percentage of any of the contestants.

MJD: He'll also want it more than anyone else, though, and has probably been dreaming of avenging his loss since the finished as runner-up to Dirk last year. He'll win, and will probably call Mike Krzyzewski immediately afterwards and tell him to go to hell.

Bethlehem Shoals: Nothing involving Arenas makes any sense, so of course the league's great three-point daredevil would win this careful, mannered competition. We can only hope that he shoots from three feet behind the arc. This is a largely sentimental pick, since streaky guards as about as likely to take this as big men are the Dunk Contest.

Well, you'll be happy to know that Gilbert agrees with MJD and Shoals, as the following video shows. The video was supposed to focus on the Wizards' lasting memories of the first half of yet another weird season, but a lot of the guys got out of the locker room real quick, limiting my interview options. And I don't know how we veered onto a discussion about the three-point contest. And I can't explain why I sound like a three-year-old child with asthma during parts of this. Anyhow....
