Where to Watch Cricket in D.C.
Apologies for the slow day. In the meantime, can someone please help this reader? I admit, my Cricket connections are not what they once were.
You may or may not be aware that the Cricket World Cup starts in March in the West Indies. [Answer: not aware - ed.] I'm not writing this to demand more coverage or anything, but I was just wondering if you had the 'connections' to find out if there are any bars in the District or Nova where I can go watch the matches. I am going to Barbados for the Super 8s and I want to be able to follow it live before and especially after I get back (how much would it suck if I watched my team, the West Indies, make it past the semis and then was unable to see the final?).
I suppose it would suck a lot. More importantly, why are you a fan of the West Indies cricket team? Are they anything like the New Zealand curling team?
Btw, I'll be highly disappointed in you, my readers, if you don't produce a satisfactory answer to the Cricket Bar query.
