We're Talkin' About Practice

Georgetown practiced first today and, man, was it boring. There was pretty decent crowd, about 3,000 I'll estimate, but they were mostly quiet while the Hoyas shot jumpers and free throws. The crowd was so lulled to sleep that no one seemed to notice when Patrick Ewing Jr. swished a shot from three-quarters court. Three-quarters! He put his hands up and rushed down to retrieve the ball, but even his teammates didn't seem too thrilled.

"That's not a game shot," Ewing Jr. said. "Just messing around."

Mike Wise is here now, so the contents of the Bog should improve greatly. The first thing he said was something like, "It's on this weekend!" when he saw us, and that sort of frightened me.

Also, Seth Greenberg is here as an analyst for CSTV. I'll try to get him to break down the Georgetown game, or at least say something funny about the Kosher Korner.

So did Chuck Klosterman steal your "We're talking about practice!" line for his live blog today on, or did you steal it from him, or do great minds think alike?
