Just In Case: The Bulls

I'm not going to bore you with the permutations, but suffice it to say, there now appears a greater-than-remote chance the Wiz will, for the second time in three years, open the playoffs on the road against the Bulls. According to my expert calcuations, such a matchup would require the Wiz to really tank (50 percent chance), the Nets to keep winning (50 percent chance), and the Bulls to remain ahead of the Cavs (50 percent chance), so I'll say there's about a 12.5 percent chance that we see this matchup. (If you're curious, there's a 75 percent chance the Wiz play the Raptors, a 12 percent the Wiz play the Cavs, and a 0.5 percent chance the Wiz play the Pistons, according to my expert calculations.)

(And seriously, if you took the Wiz and +39.5 wins before the season, as I recommended, at what point do you begin the full-on panic mode? I'll say it's if they lose at Miami and at Atlanta.)

Anyhow, just in case the Chicago matchup comes to be, I figure I should be among the first to post this video of Brendan Haywood and Antonio Davis doing that romantic tango from way back when, in which Davis really seemed to be the lead dancer, and Brendan really seemed to be working out whatever muscle you work out when you stroll backwards at a high rate of speed.
