LeBron < Sanjaya

Since this seems to be making major rounds, might as well include it here. LeBron, singing, badly. There was actually quite a bit of chatter about this in the press room last night, much of it sort of mocking the whole Idol phenomenon. What heathens. As if this series can compete with "Idol Gives Back."

Also worth noting: the Q's scoreboard, which I generally like and will write extensively about later today, ran a long "Idol" bit at some point last night that fell a bit flat. First some guy in a LeBron jersey sings, and we see old clips of Paula, Simon and Randy raving, and he gets sent to Hollywood. Then comes some guy in a tight-fitting Gilbert jersey, and the judges hate him. He's handed a baggy LeBron jersey, puts it on and is sent to Hollywood. Then he chucks the Gilbert jersey on the ground, some other guy comes by, sniffs the Gilbert jersey, and throws it in the trash.
