Waiting for the Wiz to finish practice., and for the Wiz to release Gilbert's MRI. Four notable developments thus far, with "notable" being defined as "more interesting than Ivan Carter's discussions about the Twins."

1) Strength and conditioning coach Drew Cleary has taken to calling Ivan Carter "Fire Marshall Bill," based on Ivan's groundbreaking blogging work on Brendan Haywood.

"Fire Marshall Bill," Cleary explained, "was always starting fires so he could go put them out."

2) Wiz radio guy Dave Johnson took one look at me and Ivan, with our dueling laptops, and shook his head.

"You guys look like you're day trading," he said.

4) Chris Bosh has scored 17 more points against the Wiz than against any other team this season. 120 points in four games. That's 30 per. Maybe the Wiz should intentionally drop to the No. 7 seed to play Cleveland/Chicago.
