Jeff Green Goes, Roy Hibbert Stays
Official Georgetown beat writer Camille Powell reports that her story this AM was, not surprisingly, correct. She'll have an updated web story soon. Georgetown's Jeff Green goes to the NBA. Fellow rising senior Roy Hibbert comes back for another season.
At the presser, Jeff Green was wearing purple shoes, matching his purple polo shirt. The shoes even had light-purple laces
Jeff Green hasn't yet hired an agent, but is in the process. He'll go to the pre-draft camp in Orlando for a physical but will not play there.
Serious question: If both players came back to Georgetown, the Hoyas would obviously be No. 1 in the 2007-08 Sports Bog Spectacular Local Hoops poll. If neither came back, I'm not sure that they would. But with Roy back, are the Hoyas a unanimous No. 1 next preseason?

They are unquestionable the best team in 2007-08. There is no other team in America, either in terms of defense, offense, or rotation that can compete with them. And GU's rise has just started. Respect has been earned, and fear (of the Hoyas) is here to stay.
