This Morning in Bog

Redskins.com posts a Sean Taylor video interview that's pretty vanilla, but he does say he likes the draft picks and isn't unhappy with his contract and that the team is like "a big ol' family." The team's story is here. Our paper writes about the interview, as does the Washington Times.

No offense, but Robert Fick isn't exactly Cary Grant. (Photo from BaseballToddsDugout)
Jason Campbell will apparently compete in the NFL Quarterback Challenge this weekend in the Cayman Islands, along with "show-stopping" receiver Brandon Lloyd, who will be hanging out with Scuba-diving teens.

Not only did the Style section follow my lead in covering Stitch N' Pitch, but they actually interviewed and quoted the same guy that I did, Benjamin/Ben Forbes of Fredericksburg!!! My quote, about Frank Black, was better.

Robert Fick makes fun of Jason Bergmann's hair, and Danbury celebrates one of its own. That would be Bergmann. Sort of.

Despite that near-fistfight, the Orioles actually love each other.

Bullets Forever finds a very humorous old Gilbert Arenas endorsement ad. Very humorous indeed.

For Local Hoops pollsters preparing their offseason spreadsheets, the Baltimore Sun takes a look at the new additions on Maryland's DI teams.

Don't forget that the Montgomery-Germantown baseball team is playing in the Division III Juco World Series this weekend.

I still don't exactly understand how the softball committee "inadvertently" screwed up the seedings. Luckily, the committee apologized for any inconvenience this might have caused. Feinstein must be frothing; if this were the basketball committee, he would have already scorched them in print.

Did everyone get their $50 Alex Ovechkin action figures, which went on sale yesterday? (Capital Addiction)

Re: the Gilbert video ad.

"Better 1 on 1 Defense: Never get schooled again"

Is this where we all collectively laugh hysterically?
