Watch Blog Show IX
As always, I'd recommend you tune in sometime around 6 p.m. tonight to watch the glory that is your Blog Show. In tonight's installment, Mister Irrelevant's Jamie Mottram and I will shamelessly steal news stories from the usual suspects, along with such made-for-primetime blogs as The Jaunt, Every Day Should be Saturday, the Name of the Year Blog and Joe Sports Fan. Furthermore, there's a chance I will use knitting needles, which would be cool. And groins could be a topic of conversation.
In the meantime, I'm trying to conserve my strength for the Preakness, so despite a notebook full of tremendously riveting material, I'll be quiet today.
That means I had to skip this actual event:
Washington Wizards center Michael Ruffin, along with his wife Mistye and their children Deionte, Milaya, Javon and Kalea, will participate in the Rock Creek Park BioBlitz on Friday, May 18, 2007. The Ruffin family will team up with scientists, naturalists, community leaders, students and volunteers to discover and inventory the biodiversity of Rock Creek Park .
I do, however, want to send a few links in your direction.
East Coast Bias posts Preakness betting tips, which I'd use, if I understood horse betting.
Professional rugby could be coming to a country near you. (like, this one, for example)
Susan O'Malley will graduate G'Town Law this weekend with the offspring of Ernie Grunfeld and Rod Thorn.
Peter Schrager says the Skins had the 22nd best offseason, which is probably better than being in the Top 10.
And The Dude Abides has photos of me riding polo ponies, which is pretty awesome.
