Gilbert and Deep Fried Oreos

So, for this monumental week, I'm going to Manhattan with my wife and daughter for the NBA Draft. (Note: Wife and daughter not currently planning on attending the NBA Draft.)

But we all decided to go a day early. Why, you ask? Well, as Michael Lee reported in today's paper, Kevin Durant is being unveiled today as the cover boy for EA's NCAA March Madness '08.

What he didn't reveal is that Durant and Gilbert are doing some sort of "play-against-the-fans" event tonight at Righteous Urban Barbeque in Chelsea. And no one talks about RUB BBQ without mentioning the $4.75 deep fried oreos, for which I thoroughly plan on soliciting a Gilbert Arenas review, assuming his contract doesn't have a prohibition on such arterial-mashing nonsense.

All New York-based bloggers are encouraged to attend. By me, anyhow.

Deep-fried Snickers bars > deep-fried Oreos, though not by much. God Bless the N.C. State Fair.
