John Riggins Gets His Start

Obviously we all know that Riggo's a great actor, what with his star turn on "Guiding Light" and all. What you might not remember, though, is that before he got all Hollywood, he was a celebrity pitchman for Field & Stream magazine, a pitchman who figured his pitch would be better if he wore short shorts and carried a tough, water-resistent duffel bag. Also: I wish I knew what the surprise gift was.
