New Wizards Videos

Yeah, even in June.

Item Number One: The Wizards released a new video of Caron Butler and Gilbert Arenas at the All-Star game. If you watch carefully, you can spot embedded NBA reporter Elie Seckbach, grinning like he's in heaven, as Gilbert prompts Butler to break into song. Also, in the tunnel, waiting to go out for practice, you can see eight or nine mature NBA professionals calmly waiting, plus one guy jumping around and preening and giggling and generally giving the impression that he had just inhaled three or four cartons of Necco wafers. I'll let you guess which player.

Item Number Two: It's Caron Butler Week in Racine! Well, Caron Butler Week-and-a-Half, really. Caron Butler Summer Homecoming, is the official name. There's a basketball camp, reading, bike riding ("Butler's Bike Brigade"), ice cream treats, and of course, the Mayor will declare Caron Butler Day on June 8.

Item Number Three: This has been kicking around, and the Bullets portion of it is sort of tame (four thousand people at RFK? Even the Nats haven't sunk that low), but it's fun to see Gordon Peterson and Maureen Bunyan still doing their thing in 1978. Thanks to Bullets Forever.

I must admit I couldn't really make out what was happening in that first video...but anything Wizards on the Bog is always good news.

I'd say it was simply Gil being Gil, a clown lol. It's interesting to see how Gil is when he's around the best east guys. I couldn't say what was Gil talking about, but I guess he was simply cracking a couple of jokes to make everybody laugh you know...
