A Shirtless Dmitri Young Greets Caron

Apologies for being late to the game on this one, but the Wizards' always brilliant multimedia team put together a video of Caron's trip to RFK, a video that contains highlights almost too numerous to mention here.

First and foremost, there is the image of Caron greeting a shirtless Dmitri Young, an image that will be stuck in my brain for at least 48 or 72 hours. "Please throw a strike," shirtless Dmitri says. Whoops.

Then we have Felipe Lopez threatening to go all Allen Iverson, Caron saying he hopes he propels the Nats to the World Series, Manny Acta invoking the name of "Agent Zero," Tony Batista mugging for the camera, Caron throwing like [someone who can't throw very well] and getting booed and heckled by the crowd, Caron attempting to explain to his family members how much goes into the pitching motion, Caron chewing straws, and Caron redeeming himself, plus a shot of the side of my head.

Bearing in mind that it's the middle of July and you don't have anything to do, you really ought to invest seven minutes in this, as well. And my regards to the team of (I think) Jumoke Davis and Tod Plotkin for putting this together.

After seeing that, the only thing I could think of was something John Kruk once said, "I'm not an athlete, I'm a baseball player".
