The Mike Vick Poortrait

You know you've made it as a blogger when you get a mass e-mail that goes something like this:

Keeping with recent times and recent controversies, societal reflective artist KELLY WAN has decided to "honor" Mr Vick with painting this special portrait. You may be asking yourself why is this portrait so unique? WAN has painted this portrait of Vick using acrylic paint based with DOG FECES. That's right.... DOG FECES. It is currently on auction at ebay.

Well of course it is. Societal reflective artist KELLY WAN doesn't seem to exist, as far as the Internets are concerned, nor does the eBay page indicate how we can be sure that this is genuine DOG FECES and not, say, WOODCHUCK FECES. Nor does the supposed DOG FECES portrait look particularly like Vick, but art doesn't need to perfectly reflect life. Even reflective art. The starting bid is $100, which, to me, seems like a waste.
