Etan Thomas's Open Letter to Ivan Carter

[UPDATE: Sorry. Link here.]

Remember when Mister Irrelevant talked up D.C. sports media beefs last week? No end in sight. Luckily, no reporters seemed to have fought in the Redskins locker room yesterday (official motto: No Fight This Week!), but after Etan Thomas and Ivan Carter posted dueling blog-like items last week, Etan answered back today.

My own feeling: probably time to back off the dude that is recovering from open-heart surgery and let him have the final word. I get crabby when my tummy aches; if my torso was ripped open I would likely be even more difficult to deal with. Anyhow, here's what Etan said, in small part:

I know this guy, or at least I though I knew him and I refuse to believe that his heart is this cold, so I am going to attempt to clarify this for him and anyone else who doesn't understand why I would take issue with the coverage of this whole situation, then I'm going to leave it alone. I have too much to be thankful for and have spent too much time and energy on this already.

So hopefully this will be the final word for the time being, and we can all get back to what the Internet was really made for: taking cheap shots at Bostonians to cover up for our obvious feelings of athletic inadequacies on this day. More on that coming up!
